Compared with that of a clerical employee in govt. banks.Some of the duties/roles of assistants include customer servicing, providing policy details to visitors,accepting premiums, regular office work etc.,
Vacancies – 750 posts (SC - 111, ST - 52, OBC - 182, UR - 405)
Tamilnadu: SC - 28, ST - 1, OBC - 39, UR - 77
Salary: Rs.17,000/ month
Age limit: 18 – 28 yrs as on June 30, 2015 (+3 yrs for obc, +5 yrs for sc/st)
Qualification:
Must have passed in any degree OR 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in std XII
Local language knowledge of the state you are applying.
You DO NOT need IBPS Exam scores. Therefore anyone who has not even appear for IBPS bank exams are also eligible to apply for these jobs.
Selection procedure:
Written test(scheduled in the month on August) & interviews.

An email & SMS containing your provisional registration number & password would be sent which you need to preserve safely for future references.

Click on ‘Payment’ tab to pay the application fee of Rs.450 (Rs.75 for SC/ST/PWD) that should be paid only through the online payment gateway integrated along with this application form.
You must take a print of the system generated application form & e-receipt since it could be asked during the interview stage.
