Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities
5-7 years of new product design and developmental experience in electro mechanical product development - In-depth knowledge of plastic component design and injection molding process
Sheet metal component design - GD&T and Tolerance analysis -CTQ identification
Design for Ingress protection (IP) techniques for electro mechanical enclosures
Proficient in Pro/E CREO 2.0 , Solidworks - Indepth knowledge of using Skeleton and Master model technique
Exposure to impact / drop testing and designing plastic enclosures for this particular requirement
Exposure to SLA , machined and sheet-metal parts prototyping
Design of hinges , mechanisms and moving parts or assemblies.
PCB mounting and packaging techniques inside a plastic enclosure
Awareness of regulatory requirements like UL / IEC 60601, ISO 13485 etc..
Medical device back ground -Technical writing skills to write protocols and reports
Six sigma (DFSS) knowledge will be a plus - Strong written and verbal communication skills
Mandatory skills:
Electro Mechanical, Plastic, Sheet Metal, Tool Design, Manufacturing, Medical device.
