Qualification : SSLC and National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Instrument Mechanic Trade with not less than 60% of marks and National Apprenticeship Certificate.

For Semi Skilled (C): Maximum as on 01/05/2015 General Turn-30 years; BC -30 years; MBC/DNC-32 years; SC/ST-35 years
For Semi Skilled (B): - Minimum 30 years as on 01/05/2015
For Semi Skilled (A): - Minimum 35 years as on 01/05/2015
For Skilled (B): - Minimum 40 years as on 01/05/2015
Experience :
For Semi Skilled (C): Should have minimum 5 years of Post Qualification experience as on 01/05/2015
For Semi Skilled (B): Should have minimum 10 years of Post Qualification experience as on 01/05/2015
For Semi Skilled (A): Should have minimum 15 years of Post Qualification experience as on 01/05/2015
For Skilled (B): Should have minimum 20 years of Post Qualification experience as on 01/05/2015 in the installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of Industrial Instrumentation and controls and automation consisting of DCS / PLC, different types of measuring / control instruments, transmitters, switches, control valves, power cylinders, actuators, etc. in a large size manufacturing industry or power plants.
