Job Description
Job Title: Junior Engineer – ECO Process
Education Level: B.E / B.Tech (Any Engineering)
Experience Required:
Junior Engineer: 0 – 2 years of experience as a NPI/ECO Engineer in a BPO or Manufacturing set up.
Shift: Open to night shifts.
Candidate Profile:
Following experience is preferred. But no constraint for a right candidate.
1. Hands on experience in the following domains,
§ NPI (New Product Introduction)
§ ECO (Engineering Change Order management)
§ BOM (Bill Of Materials) Management
§ Price Matrix Process
Working Knowledge of ERP, preferably BAAN Hands on Experience of any PLM software linked to ECO processExperience in Manufacturing / BPO industry preferably in electronics Knowledge of MS office and MS outlookExcellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY. Good analytical skills.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Creating setup like product Number, BOM Structure etc in AGILE & BAAN for new Products
2. Creating part numbers for BOM in agile & Baan
3. Creating AVL in agile & Baan system
4. Downloading customer documents like product specifications etc & releasing same in CDC
5. Efficiently managing ECOs for manufacturing sites across the globe
6. Use Agile (PLM) system for ECO (Engineering Change Order) creation, reviewing , routing, tracking, releasing and distribution
7. Study the ECOs / Drawings closely and coordinate with the site Process / Product Engineering team
8. Work closely with Engineering and materials teams to review product updates / modifications
9. Respond to Business Partner (requestor) and customer on queries relating to Engineering Change Orders
10. Ensure adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics
11. Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues.
