B.E/B.Tech (Chemical/ Polymer), MSc (Chemistry, Organic chemisty, Inorganic chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry), M.Tech (Chem Engg, Materials, Composites) candidate's recruitment in ADITYA BIRLA

Introduction about the Aditya birla
Epoxy Division was established in 1992, as a joint venture company with Japanese partners and process licensor (M/S Tohoto Kasai) to produce 10000MTA Epoxy resin. The plant had 35 grades of Epoxy resin and was made in the same plant. In the year 1996, the plant was expanded to 30000MTA by installing one more plant which was dedicated for solid Epoxy and old plant was kept for liquid epoxy. In year 2000 the new plant of solid was converted into multipurpose to produce liquid epoxy due to increased demand of liquid resin. In year 2002 the unit initiated entry into specialty epoxy resins with introduction of Pilot plant, Application Laboratory and Development lab. The first specialty plant –MP (multipurpose) was set up in year 2004 to produce 7500 MTA, specialty resin. In year 2006 the unit set up a full-fledged well equipped R& D and Application Development Centre. The second specialty plant was commissioned in the year 2008. New India plant of 60000MTA capacity is being setup in Vilayat, Gujarat and a new application development center is being setup at ABSTC, Taloja. Both units are expected to be operational in 2013. Epoxy market demands high technology and specialty products with very low tolerances for quality variations. High competitive rivalry between epoxy or other thermosetting manufacturers as well as formulators needs continuous development of new products and systems for which exposure to new technologies is essential. The improvement of existing products is needed in parallel to provide better quality and reduce drawbacks of the products. Sharing knowledge with team and across functions is important and useful to gain knowledge, update novel research and technology and generate an idea collectively.
