JOB DESCRIPTION:
• SHE & Quality
- Basic appreciation of SHE & Q requirements with respect to Unilever & HUL standards.
- Monitoring the comprehensive environmental management systems
- On-line control for quality defects and initiating steps for non-conformances.
- On the job training on procedures, techniques etc., for all employees.
• Shift Operation
- Handling a total of around 40 workmen in each shift.
- Working knowledge of handling shift production, including direct and indirect machine related employees. -Team working and co-ordinating with colleagues for raw and packing materials to achieve production plans.
-To develop inter-personal relationships and maintaining a good rapport with shift workmen. -To motivate employees to achieve high output levels while maintaining safety, quality and disciplinary norms.

- Monitoring and controlling of technical efficiencies like raw and packing material over consumption to achieve the factory targets. -Maintaining and improving machine efficiencies by attending to and resolving machine breakdowns in shifts. -Ability to implement innovative solutions to recurring problems.
- Active involvement in machine maintenance activities in co-ordination with Engineering Officer for ensuring completion of specific repairs/maintenance
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in TPM implementation
- Working experience in process industries engaging utilities like Boilers, Air compressors, Chillers etc. - Working knowledge of preventive and Time based maintenance and its application.

PREFERRED PROFILE
• Educational Qualifications: Degree in Chemical /Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Related work experience: Preferable – 3-5 years in Process industry / factory as a shift in-charge having strong people management skills.
