Trainee - Copyediting
Job Location:  Chennai (Madras)
Job Description:  Responsibilities & purpose of this job

1. Should undergo two months of intensive classroom training in copyediting & four months of on-the-job training (after classroom training)

2. Should be capable of handling simple to medium-level copyediting as per customer requirements

3. Should enter their day-to-day production details in e-Workflow & Produce error-free output

4. Should be able to handle LIVE production of Copyediting immediately after the completion of training

5. Will be responsible for Copyediting of Journal / Books with high emphasis on quality
Functional Area:  ITES/BPO/KPO/Customer service
Functional Role:  Trainee
Candidate Requirement
1. Fresh graduates or Post Graduates in any scientific / engineering discipline (or) M.A English Literature with a first class academic record

2. Excellent English skills (verbal & written) and an eye for detail are essential

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Word will be an added advantage

4. Enthusiastic learner and passion for reading / editing

5. Age limit : Not more than 30 years

6. Should be willing to work in rotational shifts (no night shifts for women)

7. Should have above 60% of marks (aggregate) and possess great reading habit and willingness to learn..
