அதேபோன்று, இப்படிப்புகளில் சேர்ந்துள்ள மாற்றுத் திறனாளி மாணவர்கள், 1,000 பேருக்கு, 'சாக் ஷம்' என்ற திட்டத்தில், உதவித் தொகை வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

கல்வி கட்டணமாக 30 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் மற்றும் மாதம் 2000 ரூபாய் வீதம் 10 மாதங்களுக்கும் உதவித் தொகை வழங்கப்படும்.

Details of Pragati & Saksham Scholarship Scheme for the A.Y. 2015-16
ONLINE applications are invited under the Two Scholarship Schemes viz (1) the Pragati Scheme for the Girls, and (2) the Saksham Scheme for the Differently abled Students, admitted during the academic year 2015-16 in AICTE approved Technical Institutions for approved Diploma and Degree level courses.
The salient features and eligibility criteria are as under:-
Scholarship for Girls under Pragati Scheme Number of Scholarships available per annum: 4000
Amount of Scholarship: Rs. 30,000/- or the tuition fees paid, whichever is less and Rs. 2,000/- per month for ten months as contingency allowance.
Eligibility1. One girl per family
2. Family income should be less than Rs. 6 Lakhs
per annum
3. Admitted to AICTE approved institutions in
programmes/courses at
Diploma/Undergraduate Degree Level.
4. Only for students admitted in first year of the
academic year 2015-16

Scholarship for Differently Abled Students, Number of Scholarships available per annum: 1000

(1) The last date for uploading/online receipt of applications is 16th November, 2015 up
to 5:00 P.M.
(2) Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected summarily.
(3) Applications received offline will not be entertained.
(4) Reservation-15% for SC, 7.5% ST and 27% for OBC candidate/applicant.
(5) Out of the total number of scholarship in each scheme, 50% scholarships are
available at each degree /diploma level and also transferable in the event of non
availability of eligible applicant in any of the of degree/ diploma level programme.
(6) Students shall maintain General Saving Account only (NO FRILL Accounts will not be
allowed).
